Electrical Engineering is one of the largest and fastest-growing fields of engineering, primarily dealing with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. The Department of Electrical Engineering at KBSSCOET, NMKC was established in the academic year 2011-12, with an initial intake of 60 students, aiming to develop skilled professionals through quality technical education.

The department is committed to preparing students for the evolving demands of the industry by integrating modern tools, information technology, and computer-based techniques into the curriculum. The B.Tech program is thoughtfully designed to offer a balance between in-depth specialization and broad-based learning, ensuring that students gain a solid foundation in core electrical engineering concepts.

The department boasts a dedicated and experienced faculty, blending academic excellence with rich industrial exposure. The staff possess expertise in emerging fields such as Power Systems, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, and VLSI Design, contributing to a vibrant and forward-looking learning environment. Faculty members actively engage in research, regularly publish in reputed journals, and participate in national and international conferences to stay aligned with technological advancements.

In addition to academic excellence, the department places a strong emphasis on innovation and practical learning. Students are encouraged to work on innovative projects, product development, and real-time problem-solving.
